Too Sweet.

With this project, I had to design and come up with my own type of sweet. I decided that I would take a mix of two things and combined them together. I chose two items which no one would really mix together, and it took a twist on both. I decided to do the mix with Chocolate and Sherbet. It's an odd mix, but i thought it would be fun! You'll have the sweet taste of chocolate which melts in your mouth but it also has a fizz of sourness because of the sherbet. It will come in different flavours of sherbet and chocolate.

I decided to go with a very simple packet design, with the colours of the ingredients. For example, the sherbet colour on top tells us what flavour it is and so does the typography below. On the sides on the wrapper I chose to put the flavour of the chocolate, but the information on the wrapper also tells you.

The fonts I used for this projects are 'Adorable' for the name of the chocolate bar at 63.75pt and the information of whats inside at 14pt, I got the font from Dafont.com. For the flavour of the sherbet I used the font Engravers MT at 18pt. This font was already installed on my macbook.

Above explains the sweet itself. I used the same font to go over the top of the chocolate pieces which is 'Adorable'. I used the sweet name as it's branding the item. I also explained how many pieces each size bar would get, and what it would look like inside with the sherbet.

McStack.

I went to McDonalds around 3am with two friends, we got really hungry just having a night up playing games, we attempted to go into McDonalds but it was only drive through!! It was raining and cold, but we still attempted to get out the car and run in!! It was the perfect opportunity to do the project too!!! I tried to come up with different ways of stacking up 10 cheeseburgers, as I didn't want it to be the same as everyone else's that I have already seen. I did attempt to stack up all 10 on to one after, but before I could even take a picture it just all fell apart! Below is the sketch drawing I did and I then went on to doing a version digitally.

 

I'm Game.

Above is the game 'Graphix'. It the same concept as Monopoly, but just a Graphic Design version.

It was a fun design to do, as I didn't want to it to be the usual square design. It took me a while to figure what to do, as I thought this was the hardest project we had to do. I did most of it on Photoshop and a few bits and bobs on Illustrator. It took me a about a day to complete this, but I am happy with the design, and it's colourful!

With this project, I had to map out the next 30 years of my life, I came up with the things I actually wanted to achieve in my life. I chose to put in not the map of China because thats my background and this is all about me. I used the font 'Apple Chancery'. There wasn't any particular reason for it. I also chose to colour the map in the flag colours. I then used white footprints to show the pathway of my journey to the final step. This is the map of my life i will hope to achieve within the next 30 or even 40 years. I used Photoshop, as I was struggling with illustrator once again.

Holiday Havoc.

For this project, I had to come up with something I have never done before. This then led to me making something. I chose a balloon car because it seemed fun! Being able to see if it works or if it was just a complete fail. It took me about 30 minutes to make, much longer than i thought but heres the result in the video.
